Who created Whrrl?
Whrrl v2.0 is a storytelling application for the web and mobile that lets people share and remember their real-world stories as they happen. Everyone – whether physically present or not – can contribute. Stories can be published to Facebook and Twitter, and the storyteller controls who can view and participate.
Web and iPhone versions of Whrrl v1.0 are no longer available. You can still download Whrrl v1.0 for other non-iPhone devices.
You’ll notice the new v2.0 website looks much different from the v1.0 version. We’ll be featuring stories now on the homepage instead of a map, but you can still find maps on place detail pages.
If you are a Whrrl v1.0 user and would like to access your previous data, like reviews, sign in to the Whrrl website and click the ‘Whrrl V1 data’ link at the bottom of your profile page (below friends profile pictures).

How much will it cost me to use Whrrl?
There is no cost to use Whrrl on the web. When using the mobile version of Whrrl, standard carrier charges may apply.
Whrrl works anywhere in the 50 United States. Whrrl does not work in Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
As we recently announced, Whrrl is planning international expansion in the future. However, at the moment users are not able to use Whrrl outside the U.S. Write to us at feedback@whrrl.com and tell us the country we should add first!
How do I update business information listed on your website?
Help us keep Whrrl up to date! If you see missing or incorrect information on our site, please write to us at feedback@whrrl.com with the changes that need to be made. We will make the updates and notify you when we’re done. We make every effort to update these changes within 48 hours of your e-mail.
